 Historic Savannah Trolley Tour 

4:00pm - 5:30pm

You will be picked up at the Westin Hotel, or an additional central location, and will enjoy the southern beauty and charm of Historic Downtown Savannah.  During your trolley tour you will learn about the history and the legacies that make Savannah one of America’s most interesting cities.

  Story Under the Stars

Your trolley tour will drop you off at beautiful Forsyth Park for Story Under the Stars. A community-wide healing experience featuring the power of story. Residents will share their COVID experiences, in a TED Talk fashion, and will be accompanied by the Savannah Philharmonic. This experience will allow you to see the power of story in one of Savannah’s most iconic settings. At the conclusion of Story Under the Stars, your trolley will return you to the Westin Hotel. 

  1st Annual Institute for Story | Savannah Conference

8:30am - 5:00pm each day

Located at the Savannah Convention Center, courses will be held in spacious, open spaces with plenty of room for social distancing. Your day will start with breakfast and Dr. Berry.  One of the country’s leading voices on the power and science of story, sociologist, lecturer, mother, and humorist. 

Your day will be filled with learning from the brightest talents who have utilized the power of story to rise to the top of their industries.  

  Stand Up Story Cocktail Reception

6:00pm - 8:00pm

Enjoy cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in the Chatham Ballroom, meet Dr. Berry and the other guest speakers, and put to practice what you have learned. Take a chance on practicing your skills of telling a great story on our stand up-story stage. 

A performance by members of the Savannah’s Philharmonic will make this an event you won’t want to miss.
